Abstract

|
We report a rare case of malignant mesothelioma arising from epididymis. Malignant mesothelioma is a rare malignant tumor in epididymis and that occurs most frequently in the pleural, peritoneal, and pericardial area. Asbestosis exposure and trauma have been thought as risk factors. The most presenting symptom was scrotal enlargement with hydrocele and scrotal mass. Complete resection is important in patient outcome and recurrence rate is about 60% within 2 years.
